Which Signs Need Cleaning?

One thing Councillors hear quite often is that residents think tatty-looking or grubby road signs, town signs and information signs provide, well, a tatty first impression of the area to locals and visitors alike.

With this in mind, three Councillors got in the van today Saturday 4th, with mops, buckets and ladders to make a start on improving things.

They began in Beacon Hill and moved to Hindhead and Haslemere.

They were able to refresh a good number of signs before their batteries ran out but if you know of one near you, or on a journey you make that needs attention, please get in touch either here or on Facebook and they’ll get a list together and try to put it right.
