As trailed last week, the next stage of work has now been done to improve the public loos.
After Haslemere Town Council saved them from closure by taking them over from Waverley last year, we pressure-washed the whole building and did some plumbing changes behind the scenes to stop the pipes from freezing in winter.
Now we’ve taken out the old, horrible, trough urinal from the mens’ and replaced them with two new individual units.
They’re more fragrant now – we did have (accurate) complaints about the odour before.
Also, all the pans and seats have been changed in the ladies along with the flushes, which were pretty poor.
All seems to work nice and smoothly now……
