Ever since the Town Council saved the toilets from closure at the end of 2017, they’ve wanted to start improving them.
Until the new Lease is signed (not long now) that’s a bit difficult but one Councillor started the ball rolling.
He got up early on Saturday to avoid car parkers and pressure-washed the whole building to remove algae, grime and traffic pollution accumulated over the decades.
This is only cosmetic work but makes a start on the project to make them more attractive to those that use them. Plans for the interior are in hand.
