You may have heard there are Town, Borough and County Council elections on 2nd May.
You’ll get a lot of votes to cast – maybe as many as nine!
For the Town, Haslemere’s broken down into 5 wards, see below. You only get the chance to vote for the candidates standing in your ward.
These wards are quite small, ranging from about 1,100 to 3,200 voters, so your vote matters.
The candidates are local people, interested in helping manage and improve the area they live in.
They’ll all have been dropping leaflets through your door or coming to ask what matters to you.
At Borough, there are 3 wards covering Haslemere. At County, just one.
Those elected serve for four years in all cases.
