Clement’s Corner Clean-up

Clement’s Corner, just west of the railway bridge, next to the old Crown & Cushion pub was the subject on Saturday 30th September of a tidy-up by Haslemere Town Councillors.

Cllrs Liindz Peel, Simon Dear, David Round and Melanie Odell spent the first part of the morning helping out with the Weyhill in Bloom gang as they removed dead hanging baskets and planted bulbs in the planters along Weyhill, and then turned their attention to Clement’s Corner.

Hedges were cut back and plants in danger of choking the stream removed. We think it looks pretty good now.
