More than 70 people turned up today, Saturday 17th February, for the inaugural Hunter Centre Farmers’ Breakfast at the Marjorie Gray Hall on Grayswood Road.
As you will know, The Hunter Centre provides care for those living with dementia but in this case they opened their doors to all-comers for a superb start to the day, £10 for a huge cooked breakfast with produce sourced from local farmers’ markets in Milford, Haslemere and Godalming, who sponsored the event.
50% of the money raised will be kept by the Centre, 50% given to the Mayor’s Charities.
Forthcoming events in aid of the Centre include a Quiz Night on 17th March at 7.00pm and a Disco on 14th April at Shottermill Club.
